In Earth Sciences they worked at scraping out a fossil fish.
Hannah and Josiah are panning for gold here, with real gold taken from the Dawson area in the Yukon.
They were successful! (See the tiny flakes?)
Here are the children with friends in front of a T-Rex. Nasty looking thing!
Building strong buildings was next, so strong that they would stand up against an earthquake.
In Physics, Hannah touched the electric ball...
and made her hair stand on end.
And, the most fun, of course, in Chemistry the kids got to make slime. And take it home. Lovely.

looks like a wonderful, educational time and you didn't even have to prepare anything...WAY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT! That's my kind of homeschooling!
Looks great!
Did you tell the kids they were panning for Uncle John's gold?
Hannah need some serious hair spray. I'm just sayin'.
Josiah really didn't look all that thrilled with his find!
That looks like tons of fun! We had a science theme for our KENA (Kids Experiencing New Activities) sessions this fall and a lot of the activities are similar. We didn't pan for gold though!!!
