Vacation for a 9 month old

At the beach this is as close as I got to the sand.

















But I had some cool new toys to play with.












And a great view while driving around the campground.
And lots of snuggles with Mommy during campfires.

Jonathan's Kayak Relay Race

This year at MBC the kids were able to join a skills class during their morning sessions.











Jonathan chose watercraft skills and learned how to properly row (paddle?) a kayak, even while standing!












On the last day they had a relay race....












Jonathan came in second by a boat length!

A Great Girly Green Gables Getaway!

Hannah and Mom enjoyed a weekend getaway together, at a local hotel. The room was lovely!

A comfy bed to enjoy a and a great movie marathon...
3 hours of Anne of Green Gables.














And a yummy breakfast to finish off our time.















Can't wait for the next getaway!

Winter fun

Though it has been a fairly snow-less winter thus far we have managed to enjoy some outside winter fun.

The Floridians arrived when we had a touch of snow, so we went tobogganing:







The hill in our backyward, or more accurately, our neighbour-over-the-fence's yard, has seen some activity:

We also spent Jonathan's, Luke's and Josiah's birthday party at the tube park--what a hoot! When all else fails, go somewhere where they make snow! :)

Meet Skipper!

Juliette had a kitten... something in the air around here, I guess :)
