On our vacation we spent some time fishing, both in the harbour and on the boat. We had a great time learning how to bait hooks, cast, and get the slimy things off!
Everybody caught a fish at least once, and often more than once making it a very fun time. The most common catch was flounder, and we enjoyed eating it for supper a few times--deep fried!

The one thing we didn't learn to do was to cut the heads off and gut them...

Oh so much fun. I think Uncle Jeep John and Aunt Beth would have loved to be involved in that!
