Fun in the snow!

The snow was rather late in coming, but the kids have been making the most of it since it has. They love sliding down the rather short hill in the front yard... they will have a blast when we get to the park for some real sledding! Hopefully they won't have major demolition derbies, like this one, at high speeds!

In the backyard they have been building "snow mountains", "Volcanoes" which involved pails of water (I put a stop to that one pretty quick) and a cookstove which involved my pots and pans.


The swing set gets lots of use in the winter, too.

This was Luke's first time out in the snow. After he got bundled up and could hardly walk, he headed out.

A good time was had by all, and will surely be repeated in the days to come. After a full day of these activites Luke decided that everyone needed a drink. So he got everything ready. On the floor. Lovely.
